Redlands Asphalt Paving started in 2016 as a straightforward operation - a crew that knew asphalt, knew the Inland Empire, and wanted to do the work right. Redlands is the kind of city where people take care of their homes. Victorian-era properties near downtown, mid-century homes further out, newer subdivisions on the south side - they all need different approaches, and that understanding comes from working here regularly, not just passing through.
The Inland Empire is hard on pavement. Summers regularly push past 100 degrees, UV exposure is intense year-round, and the clay-heavy soils across much of San Bernardino County shift with the seasons. A driveway or parking lot that would hold up fine in a cooler climate can start cracking and fading within a few years here if it is not maintained. We have seen what works and what does not in this specific climate.

The Inland Empire is rough on asphalt. We use products and mixes rated for high UV exposure and heat - not whatever costs least that week.

California requires contractors performing asphalt paving and sealcoating work to hold a state license through the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB). You can verify any contractor's license number at cslb.ca.gov before signing anything.
We carry general liability insurance on all work. A certificate of insurance is available on request before any job begins. If something goes wrong on your property, you are not left without recourse.
